Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The achievement of the project goal will be ensured by implementing a set of organizational, technical and infrastructural measures, namely: Construction of the existing sports ground, which involves the dismantling of worn and damaged elements of the covering and equipment. Arrangement of a football field with a modern safe covering that meets the requirements of operation and minimizes the risks of injuries. Installation of sports equipment, in particular football goals, fencing elements and protective structures. Performance of works on the improvement of the territory, including the arrangement of the adjacent area, ensuring safe access to the site and improving its aesthetic appearance. Ensuring compliance of the facility with current construction and sanitary standards, as well as safety requirements for sports infrastructure facilities.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Unsatisfactory technical condition of the sports ground The existing sports ground on Heroiv Dnipra Street between residential buildings No. 81, No. 83, No. 85 in the city of Cherkasy has a worn and damaged coating that does not meet modern safety and operation requirements. The technical condition of the facility does not allow its full use for football, especially by children and youth. Relevance of the problem: The problem is relevant due to a long period of lack of major repairs and intensive operation of the facility. Possible consequences if not resolved: increased risk of injury; further degradation of the facility; actual loss of the functional purpose of the ground. Expected positive changes: restoration of safe operating conditions; extension of the service life of the sports facility. 2. Lack of proper conditions for physical education and sports in the microdistrict The microdistrict has a shortage of accessible and free sports infrastructure for regular football training in open space. Relevance of the problem: Growing community needs for accessible sports spaces, especially in conditions of limited access to commercial sports facilities. Possible consequences if not resolved: decrease in the level of physical activity of the population; deterioration in the health of children and youth; increase in social passivity. Expected positive changes: creation of conditions for regular sports; popularization of a healthy lifestyle among residents. 3. Non-compliance of the facility with modern safety and landscaping requirements The site does not have proper fencing and landscaping elements, which leads to unauthorized use, littering of the territory and a decrease in the overall level of security. Relevance of the problem: The lack of comprehensive landscaping creates risks for users and negatively affects the sanitary condition of the surrounding area. Possible consequences if left unresolved: further deterioration of the sanitary condition; increased costs for current maintenance in the future; social tension among residents. Expected positive changes: organization and improvement of the territory; increased level of public safety and comfort. 4. Insufficient level of use of public space Due to the unsatisfactory condition of the facility, the sports ground does not actually perform the function of an active public space. Relevance of the problem: Rational use of urban areas is an important element of sustainable community development. Possible consequences if left unresolved: inefficient use of municipal property; degradation of the adjacent territory. Expected positive changes: activation of public life in the neighborhood; formation of a modern, functional public space. Overall expected effect of the project implementation The implementation of the project will eliminate existing problems, provide residents of the microdistrict with a modern and safe football field, increase the level of landscaping of the territory and contribute to the improvement of the social and sports infrastructure of the city of Cherkasy.
