Description of the project

The project involves creating comfortable conditions to ensure vital human functions and providing inpatient 24-hour emergency and scheduled highly specialized high-quality medical care to the child population from birth to 18 years of age in the city of Poltava,  Poltava territorial community, Poltava and other separate regions of Ukraine, including newborns with congenital malformations, vulnerable groups of the population, in particular war victims and internally displaced persons (IDPs). The project is aimed at updating the outdated material and technical base of the operating room, anesthesiology and intensive care unit, which does not meet modern requirements  modern achievements and standards of medical science in providing medical care, safety, hygiene and energy efficiency requirements.

The purpose of the project is to provide affordable and high-quality medical care. Increasing the efficiency of medical care, including emergency medical care, expanding the range of surgical services and improving patient treatment outcomes. This is the creation of modern departments - with full ventilation, a monitoring system, a medical gas system, updated beds and equipment that meets world standards. This is ensuring the treatment of patients in accordance with industry standards and modern, advanced technologies - reducing the duration of treatment and accelerating recovery.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problem: The premises are in unsatisfactory condition, the oxygen supply system needs repair, it is necessary to replace the floor, ceiling, wall coverings, bathrooms, including the creation of conditions for low-mobility groups of the population; installation of fire alarm systems; modernization of the ventilation system; replacement of electrical networks, lighting, water supply, sewage, heat supply. If the situation is left in its current state, faulty systems can lead to accidents, such as flooding, fires, power outages, which endangers people's lives and health. An outdated or faulty oxygen supply system, equipment and premises can complicate the provision of medical care and the use of modern treatment methods. PKD with expertise developed.
