General information

Description of the project

Change of planning and functional solutions, reorganization of space by reconstructing the porch, namely its central part of the main entrance in accordance with the requirements of current state building standards. The reconstruction is aimed at increasing comfort by expanding the internal vestibule of the building at its main entrance, new decoration of columns and floors, repair of existing stairs and their decoration, equipping the entrance porch with tactile strips,  increasing the energy efficiency of the building, installing a new ramp in accordance with the requirements for servicing sedentary groups of the population and giving the building a modern attractive appearance.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Reconstruction of the porch is necessary to restore the structural strength, improve functionality, create appropriate conditions for the use of the building by patients, medical institution employees, and arrange a modern, barrier-free space for people with limited mobility. The project provides for: - expansion of the internal vestibule of the building at its main entrance; - new decoration of the porch floor in its central part; - new decoration of the columns of the visor above the porch; - facing with ceramic tiles the wall of the facade of the main entrance to the building; - overhaul of the porch visor ceiling - puttying, plastering; - arrangement of a new ramp in place of the existing one, in accordance with the requirements for the MGN; - repair of existing stairs and their decoration; - equipping the entrance porch with tactile strips; - replacement of the entrance door to the building and the vestibule door; - decoration of the basement part of the entrance porch and the ramp; - replacement of windows in part of the main porch; - repair of the porch fence and replacement of bars on the windows; - installation of handrails on the stairs and ramp.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

To date, the following main problems have been identified: - partially destroyed steps, which creates a risk of injury; - unsatisfactory condition of the ceiling, fences and columns, which require major repairs; - lack of proper handrails; - insufficient accessibility for people with limited mobility - it is necessary to install a modern large ramp in accordance with the requirements of inclusion. The reconstruction of the porch is extremely necessary and aims to: - increase the level of safety for patients and staff; - ensure barrier-free access for people with disabilities and other groups with limited mobility; - improve the functionality and durability of structures; - protect against the negative effects of weather conditions; - improve the aesthetic appearance of the medical institution building. The implementation of the reconstruction project will create a safe, comfortable and modern entrance to the hospital that meets accessibility requirements and operational standards.
