Creation of modern The construction of a catering unit in the Kamianka secondary education institution of the 1st-3rd levels of the Kamianka village council of the Beregov district of the Transcarpathian region is planned according to the “Basic Kitchen” model. This project will contribute to the implementation of the school nutrition reform initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska, which is aimed at providing children with high-quality, safe and nutritious food in educational institutions, forming a culture of healthy eating and spreading it among Ukrainian families. During the full-scale war, the project gained even greater importance, as it became a form of protecting our children, taking care of their present, overshadowed by Russian aggression. And we must create the best conditions for them so that they have the strength to study, plan the future and implement their plans. The need to reconstruct the catering unit of Kamianskyi ZZSO arose due to the physical wear and tear of the building and existing equipment. This project provides for the reconstruction, updating of equipment, furniture, inventory, plumbing and sewage works, ventilation repair, electrical solutions, and installation of fire alarms. The project also provides for the purchase of modern equipment, the updating of which will allow the use of modern cooking technologies and ensure compliance with the principles of the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system. Upon completion of the project, the catering unit will be able to provide 250 students of the institution with healthy, balanced nutrition. In the 2024-2025 academic year, 250 students are studying at the institution.
