General information

Description of the project

The project involves major renovation of the premises of the Administrative Services Center at the address: Tyachiv, Neresenska St., 5, in order to create a barrier-free, safe and comfortable environment for all visitors, in particular low-mobility groups (people with disabilities, the elderly, parents with strollers, temporarily injured people). The work includes updating the entrance group and routes to the service area to ensure accessibility: installing/upgrading a ramp or lifting device (if necessary), installing handrails, anti-slip coatings, lowering thresholds and eliminating height differences. It also includes adapting the sanitary unit for MGN, expanding passages/doorways (if necessary), arranging a comfortable waiting area and service points, improving lighting and navigation (signs, contrasting markings), updating engineering networks and interior decoration of the premises. The implementation of the project will improve the quality and accessibility of administrative services, reduce barriers for visitors, ensure that the premises comply with the principles of barrier-free access, and improve the working conditions of the ASC staff.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the equality of wealth distribution, Improving the condition of infrastructure

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to ensure full physical accessibility and comfortable use of the ASC services for all categories of the population, primarily low-mobility groups (people with disabilities, the elderly, parents with strollers, people with temporary musculoskeletal disorders), by overhauling the ASC premises at: Tyachiv, Neresenska St., 5 and implementing a set of barrier-free measures. Additional goals: removal of architectural barriers at the entrance and inside the building; increasing the safety of visitors' movement (risk of falls, injuries); creating clear navigation and convenient organization of the service space; ensuring proper sanitary and hygienic conditions, including for MGN; improving the working conditions of staff and the quality of visitor service; bringing the premises into compliance with the requirements of accessibility and inclusivity. Method of achieving the goal (how exactly it will be implemented) The project is implemented through the phased implementation of construction, repair and organizational measures that form a “continuous accessible route” from the entrance to the workplaces of service provision and the sanitary facility. 1) Preparatory stage: survey and design technical survey of the premises and entrance (height differences, width of passages, condition of coatings, presence of thresholds, accessibility of the sanitary facility); development of design and estimate documentation with accessibility solutions (with reference to the actual conditions of the building); determination of the optimal solution for climbing to the entrance level: ramp/platform/lift (depending on height differences and site capabilities); coordination of decisions and planning of work in such a way as to minimize interruptions in the provision of services (if necessary, temporary organization of reception of citizens). 2) Ensuring the accessibility of the entrance group and the adjacent territory arranging an accessible approach to the building: leveling the surface, eliminating pits/drops, organizing a safe movement route; repairing/modernizing the entrance group: installing a ramp or lifting device; installing handrails, protective sides, anti-slip coatings; eliminating or reducing thresholds, properly arranging doors (convenient handles, width of the passage, ease of opening); contrasting marking of dangerous zones, edges of steps (if any). 3) Forming an accessible route inside the premises removing obstacles on the movement routes: thresholds, narrow passages, inconvenient doors; if necessary, widening doorways, replacing door blocks; repairing floors with anti-slip coating, without drops; improving the lighting of corridors, waiting areas, workplaces.
