General information

Description of the project

The project involves the new construction of a deep-seated civil defense protective structure - anti-radiation shelter (PRU) on the territory of the Mykhailivsky ZDO "Dzhereltse" of the Stepiv village council. The implementation of the project is aimed at ensuring the safety of life and health of children and staff of the institution in conditions of martial law and increasing security threats. The project designs a one-story underground structure with a capacity of 110 people, with two dispersed entrances, means of accessibility for low-mobility groups of the population, ventilation systems, power supply, fire alarm and engineering and technical measures for civil defense. The design solutions comply with the current DBN, civil defense requirements and the principles of safety and reliability. The expected result of the project is the creation of a ready-to-use protective shelter that will ensure the continuity of the educational process, increase the level of community security, and comply with state policy in the field of population protection and reconstruction of critical social infrastructure.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Improving the quality of services

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the condition of infrastructure, Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to ensure the safety of life and health of children and staff of the Mykhailivsky ZDO "Dzhereltse" by building a modern civil defense protective structure - an anti-radiation shelter (PRU). The implementation of the project involves the new construction of a buried structure with engineering life support systems, accessibility for low-mobility groups and a safe internal environment for children. The project eliminates the critical gap between the lack of proper shelter and the regulatory required level of protection of the institution in martial law conditions.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The key problem is the lack of a civil defense structure in the Mykhailivs'kyi ZDO "Dzhereltse", which makes it impossible for children and staff to stay safely during air raids and other threats. The problem is especially relevant in conditions of martial law. If it is not resolved, high risks to life and health remain, and the educational process may be terminated. The implementation of the project will ensure the proper level of security, continuity of the institution's work, and increase the sustainability of the community's social infrastructure.
