General information

Description of the project

The project involves a comprehensive renovation of the city park area in order to create a safe, comfortable and accessible public space for residents and guests of the community to relax. As part of the reconstruction, it is planned to improve the pedestrian network (repair/installation of paths and surfaces), update street lighting, install modern landscaping elements (benches, bins, navigation), plant and restore green areas with care for plantings. The project may also include the arrangement of functional areas: children's and sports playgrounds, quiet recreational locations, places for family leisure, and, if necessary, a small space for cultural events. The obligatory emphasis is placed on barrier-free access (ramps, convenient approaches, lowered curbs), safety (lighting, visibility, surface) and increasing the aesthetic appeal of the area. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving the quality of life in the city, the development of active leisure and the formation of a modern public space.

The main goal of the project is the comprehensive reconstruction of the Tyachiv City Park at 4 Leonid Kadenyuk St., transforming it into a modern, safe, barrier-free and functionally rich public space for daily recreation, active leisure, family pastime and holding small cultural events. The project is aimed at: improving the quality of life of residents through access to a well-maintained green area within the city; safety of visitors during the dark hours and in places of increased use; barrier-free and equal access for people with reduced mobility (MPG), parents with strollers, and older people; health and social effect: creating an environment for walking, physical activity, communication and recovery; preservation and improvement of green spaces, increasing the ecological value and attractiveness of the territory. Method of achieving the goal (implementation methods) The goal is achieved through the implementation of a set of interrelated measures, which include design, construction and installation works, landscaping, landscaping and organization of further maintenance of the park. 1) Design and preparatory stage inventory of existing infrastructure and green spaces, identification of problem areas; development of design and estimate documentation taking into account the requirements of barrier-free access, safety and sustainable maintenance; coordination of decisions with responsible services (lighting, landscaping, green management), public consultations (if necessary); determination of the priority of work and zoning of the territory (quiet zones, active zones, transit routes). 2) Reconstruction of the pedestrian network and accessibility repair/installation of pedestrian paths and areas with durable surfaces; elimination of dangerous areas, lowering curbs, arranging smooth transitions and approaches; creation of continuous routes for MGN (logical approaches to key park objects). 3) Updating lighting and increasing safety installation/modernization of energy-saving poles and lamps for uniform lighting of main routes and recreation areas; if necessary, preparation of infrastructure for video surveillance systems/panic buttons (as an element of increasing safety); organization of visibility of the space (rational placement of landscaping elements and green spaces). 4) Landscaping and functional filling installation of benches, bins, navigation signs, information stands, bicycle parking; arrangement of recreation areas (pergolas/shade elements - if necessary), places for short-term stay; creation/renewal of a children's and/or sports area (based on the principle of surface safety and accessibility), with separation of visitor flows; if possible, a small space for public activities (events, performances, fairs) without conflict with “quiet” zones. 5) Greening and environmental solutions sanitary tree care (pruning, treatment, removal of emergency trees with compensatory landscaping); planting trees/shrubs, restoration of lawns, flower beds, formation of green groups for shade and microclimate; if necessary, rainwater management elements (local water absorption solutions, drainage from paths) to reduce flooding and destruction of surfaces. 6) Organization of maintenance and long-term sustainability determination of the balancer and operation procedure: cleaning, lighting, care of green areas, seasonal work; maintenance plan (scheduled inspections of surfaces, lighting, small architectural forms); information rules for using the park and communication with residents regarding careful treatment of the space.
