The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Creation of new facilities and services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to ensure safe and convenient transport and pedestrian connection between Sichovyh Striltsiv and Hetmanska streets in the city of Khmelnytskyi by constructing a new 486 m long thoroughfare, which will improve the accessibility of the territory, increase the mobility of the population and develop the infrastructure of the microdistrict. The goal is to achieve this by performing a complex of construction works, in particular, the arrangement of the carriageway, sidewalks, drainage system, outdoor lighting. Currently, there is no proper thoroughfare that would provide direct transport and pedestrian connection between the specified streets, the existing directions of movement are disorganized or absent, which complicates the accessibility of the territory, reduces the level of safety and hinders the development of the microdistrict. The implementation of the project will allow to eliminate the existing infrastructure gap by creating a full-fledged thoroughfare that will meet modern requirements for safety, comfort and functionality of the urban environment.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The key problem is the lack of proper transport and pedestrian connections between Sichovyh Striltsiv and Hetmanska streets, which limits the accessibility of the territory and creates unsafe conditions for movement. Existing unorganized passages are in poor condition or absent, do not meet regulatory requirements and do not meet the needs of residents. The urgency of the problem is due to the development of the microdistrict and the growing need for quality transport infrastructure.
