Description of the project
It is planned to install 55 units of frequency-regulating converters (VRCs) with a voltage of 6 kV to control electric motors of technological units at the facilities of the Kharkiv Heat Networks Control Unit. Vacuum circuit breakers and disconnectors for direct start and start via VRCs are installed together with the VRCs.

Comprehensive reconstruction and automation at critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv by installing 55 units of 6 kV VFDs and reconstructing the hydraulic circuit of vacuum circuit breakers and disconnectors.
Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation
Replacing electric motors, the condition of which is approaching emergency, on 55 technological units that ensure the operation of the critical infrastructure of the city of Kharkiv, with new modern electric motors requires the simultaneous installation of variable frequency drives (to ensure their energy efficiency) and the reconstruction of the hydraulic circuit of high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers and disconnectors (to ensure reliable operation of the system during high starting loads).
