Sports and physical education are the key to creating a comfortable and barrier-free space. They provide equal access to activities for everyone, including people with disabilities, promote physical and mental health, form a culture of mutual respect and inclusion, and help overcome social and physical barriers. The priority lies in its ability to influence all spheres of society: It is the basis of a healthy nation, which reduces the burden on the medical system. It ensures social integration and inclusion, especially for people with disabilities. It contributes to the formation of an active, responsible citizen from an early age. It is an important factor in psycho-emotional well-being and stress prevention. It affects the safety and cohesion of the community, uniting people around common values. The project involves the reconstruction of the building of the after-school educational institution "Children's and Youth Sports School" at the address: Muzeyny Lane, 1a with the aim of creating a modern inclusive sports infrastructure to provide services in the field of adaptive sports. The project plans to equip a multifunctional sports hall that will meet the needs of people with disabilities, people with limitations in daily functioning, war veterans and other socially vulnerable categories of the population. It is planned to completely renew the interior, equip a barrier-free environment (ramps, elevator, inclusive bathrooms), install modern ventilation, heating and lighting equipment, and use energy-efficient solutions. The implementation of the project will promote physical activity, social adaptation, psychological rehabilitation of combatants and people with disabilities, as well as the integration of the facility into the sports and social life of the community.
