Description of the project
The implementation of the project will allow creating a modern educational space for the implementation of specialized training in natural sciences and mathematics at the Oleg Romaniv Sokal Lyceum No. 1 of the Sokal City Council of the Lviv region. The purchase of modern teaching aids and laboratory equipment; computer technology and multimedia equipment; furniture will allow equipping classrooms and laboratories for biology, mathematics, physics and chemistry.
Since September 1, 2025, the institution has become the only one in the territorial community that has accepted 9th grade graduates from 26 schools into 10th grade. Today, education is conducted in seven 10-grade classes in the following profiles: mathematics, chemistry and biology, information technologies, Ukrainian philology, foreign languages, and social and humanitarian studies.
According to the results of the external assessment and the National Test of Secondary Education, the institution has been included in the "TOP-200 schools of Ukraine" rating three times over the past four years (taking 193rd, 102nd, and 99th places). 17 students received maximum scores: 3 students - 600 points each (three subjects of 200), 5 students - 400 points each (two subjects of 200), and 9 students - 200 points each. Over the past three years, teachers have prepared 4 prizewinners of the All-Ukrainian Olympiads (three in information technologies, one in the Ukrainian language). The institution is annually the leader in the number of regional Olympiad winners in the community and district. This year, the lyceum has 28 regional Olympiad winners, which is 64% of the total number of winners of the Sokal TG.
Access to modern technologies and laboratory equipment will allow students not only to gain knowledge, but also to develop practical skills, increase motivation for learning and research activities. This will ensure the provision of high-quality educational services and the implementation of educational programs in natural sciences and mathematics at the level of high school profiles. Students will gain experience working with modern technology and equipment, which will become the basis for further education and a conscious choice of a future profession. The updated material and technical base will make the institution competitive and attractive to students. For teaching staff — This is an opportunity to improve your skills, improve your own teaching methods and technologies, as well as conduct training and seminars for colleagues from the local community at the institution.
