Description of the project

The project is aimed at creating a modern educational space within the framework of the "New Ukrainian School" reform in educational institutions of the Drohobych city territorial community, namely: 

- creation of a physics classroom in Lyceum No. 4 named after Lesya Ukrainka of the Drohobych City Council, Lviv region; 

- creation of a physics classroom in the Lishnya Lyceum of the Drohobych City Council, Lviv region;

- creation of a chemistry classroom in Lyceum No. 16 named after Yuriy Drohobych of the Drohobych City Council, Lviv region.

To create a modern educational space, major repairs of classrooms will be carried out and the necessary equipment will be purchased

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to create a modern educational space for studying chemistry and physics in three secondary education institutions of the Drohobych urban territorial community by equipping modern chemistry classrooms in accordance with the requirements of the “New Ukrainian School” reform. The implementation of the project is aimed at improving the quality of natural science education, developing students’ research and practical skills, forming scientific thinking, and creating safe conditions for conducting laboratory and practical classes. To achieve the specified goal, the following measures are planned to be implemented within the framework of the implementation of the public investment project: 1. Carrying out major repairs of chemistry and physics classrooms. 2. Equipping classrooms with modern furniture. 3. Purchasing modern laboratory equipment, devices, and training kits for conducting experiments and laboratory work. 4. Providing classrooms with demonstration equipment and digital learning tools. Today, chemistry and physics classrooms in the aforementioned educational institutions do not meet the modern requirements of the New Ukrainian School and the needs of students.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

After the project is implemented, the chemistry and physics classrooms will be modern educational spaces characterized by: Modern design and functionality: Updated premises with high-quality repairs, ergonomic furniture that can be easily transformed for different forms of work (individual, group); High-tech; Safety and comfort: Modernized ventilation, water supply and electricity systems, as well as appropriate safety equipment will create a healthy and safe environment for students and teachers. Compliance with NUS standards
