General information

Description of the project

The project involves creating a modern educational environment at the Mayakivsky Lyceum by completely re-equipping the classrooms of the natural science and mathematics cycle and creating specialized STEM laboratories. The project includes the purchase of interactive equipment, digital measuring complexes, robotics, 3-D printers and modern transforming furniture. The goal is to ensure a practical orientation of education, develop students' research skills and prepare graduates for the requirements of the high-tech labor market in accordance with the requirements of the New Ukrainian School (NUS).

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Introducing innovations and energy-efficient solutions, Improving the quality of services

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to modernize the educational space of the Mayakivsky Lyceum by creating an innovative STEM cluster that will ensure the transition from reproductive education to research and design activities. The project is aimed at bringing the material and technical base of the science and mathematics classrooms in line with modern state standards, which will allow students to master complex technological concepts through practical experiments, robotics and digital modeling, preparing them for a conscious choice of high-tech professions. The goal of the project is achieved through a comprehensive re-equipment of educational premises with modern digital equipment, laboratory complexes and robotics that meet the requirements of the specialized school. In parallel, the adaptation of the educational space with the help of ergonomic transforming furniture for teamwork and professional training of teachers for the effective implementation of innovative research teaching methods is envisaged.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Educational inequality: graduates of rural lyceums will be less competitive when entering technical universities compared to students of urban institutions. Loss of interest: without modern laboratories, education remains purely theoretical, which leads to low motivation of students to study exact sciences. Positive changes Quality of education: transition from "paper" education to real research, 3D modeling and robotics. Career guidance: conscious choice of engineering and IT professions by students thanks to practical experience. Status of the institution: transformation of the lyceum into an innovative center of gravity for the entire Mayakivska community.
