General information

Description of the project

The project envisages major repairs of the catering units of eight educational institutions of the Konotop community: Lyceum No. 1, Lyceum No. 3, Lyceum No. 7, Lyceum No. 10, Lyceum No. 12, Lyceum No. 13, Lyceum No. 14,  Pidlipno Lyceum. The success of students in the institution and their comprehensive development depend on their health. The key to this is, first of all, high-quality and proper nutrition, nutritional conditions and high-quality food consumption through the use of energy-efficient equipment. which will be achieved as a result of the project:   strengthening the health of children; creating a safe educational space; implementing the concept of reforming general secondary education "New Ukrainian School", updating the educational space of the institution; creating conditions for persons with special educational needs (barrier-free access); updating the material and technical base of the catering unit and creating proper hygienic conditions in accordance with the requirements of current legislation; covering all types of meals for students of the institution; full coverage of hot meals for students in grades 1-4 and students of preferential categories; obtaining an annual economic effect (reducing energy consumption) by modernizing equipment; ensuring high-quality, safe, rational, balanced nutrition in accordance with the age and health status of students. : major repairs of the catering unit, dining hall, utility rooms; updating technological equipment; creating separate workshops (meat, fish, vegetable, etc.) in accordance with the HACCP standards. The school cafeteria will be transformed into a modern area for eating, relaxing, and comfort. The quantitative and qualitative level of nutrition for participants in the educational process will increase. This project is of a capital nature, so the results of the project will be able to be used by students and employees of the institution, as well as individuals with special educational needs. will contribute to the combination of community efforts in an important matter - the formation of a worthy healthy personality, will allow creating a model of interaction between school, family and community that would ensure the formation of a holistic, responsible attitude to the health of young people.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Currently, existing catering units in educational institutions are unfit for use, as they do not meet current HACCP standards, and therefore require major repairs and equipping with modern equipment.
