The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Reconstruction of the “Big Vase” fountain in the Central Park and T. G. Shevchenko in Odessa involves a complex of works aimed at the complete restoration and modernization of the facility. The project includes the dismantling of worn and damaged elements, repair or replacement of the fountain bowl, restoration of decorative and architectural details, as well as modernization of engineering systems of water supply, drainage, pumping equipment and lighting. Particular attention is paid to ensuring the safe operation of the fountain, increasing its energy efficiency and durability. The implementation of the project will allow restoring the full operation of the fountain as an important element of the recreational area, improving the aesthetic appearance of the park, increasing comfort for residents and guests of the city, as well as preserving the historical and cultural value of the facility in the structure of one of the most popular parks in Odessa.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The key problems of the “Big Vase” fountain are significant physical wear and tear of structures and engineering systems, limited or unstable operation, and the deteriorated aesthetic condition of the facility. These problems are relevant due to the long period of operation without comprehensive renovation, which leads to technical malfunctions and a decrease in the attractiveness of the park. If they are not resolved, the fountain may completely stop working, further destruction of structures and a decrease in the recreational value of the territory. The implementation of the project will ensure the restoration of the fountain’s functionality, increased safety and aesthetic appearance, increased attractiveness of the park for residents and tourists, and an extension of the facility’s service life.
