General information

Description of the project

•    To ensure stable operation and discharge of increasing
volumes of stormwater runoff  it is necessary to  construct a stormwater collector   for   2026-2028. •  improve  and quality of maintenance of the stormwater sewer network;
(timely cleaning, removal of leaves/dust, cleaning of stormwater receiving parts);
•    ensure uninterrupted passage of public transport through the city during heavy rainfall;
•    Improvement of the operation of the existing stormwater sewer network;
•    Expanding the coverage of territories for ensuring stormwater drainage;
•    Improving the city's traffic during heavy rainfall. To resolve the issue of stormwater drainage on Frantsuzky Boulevard, it is necessary to build a stormwater collector Du 1000 mm long  2940 m from  Leontovycha St. to Akademichna St.; The constructed collector along Frantsuzky Boulevard will provide stormwater drainage both on the roadway and adjacent streets, alleys and residential areas, which will ensure the safety of city electric transport, vehicles, pedestrians and will contribute to improving the sanitary condition of the territory of the recreational zone of the city of Odesa.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary goal:

Capacity building, Increasing compliance with modern standards

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

• Frantsuzsky Boulevard is the main thoroughfare of the residential area "Maly Fontan". It is not provided with the necessary drainage of stormwater. There is a section of stormwater collector Du 600 mm on Frantsuzsky Boulevard, extending from Sanatorny Avenue to Akademichna Street, which is in unsatisfactory condition due to natural wear and tear and does not provide sufficient drainage of stormwater; • To resolve the issue of stormwater drainage on Frantsuzsky Boulevard, it is necessary to build a stormwater collector Du 1000 mm, extending 2940 m. from Leontovycha Street to Akademichna Street; • The constructed collector along Frantsuzsky Boulevard will provide drainage of stormwater both on the roadway and adjacent streets, alleys and residential areas, which will ensure the safety of city electric transport, motor vehicles, pedestrians and will contribute to improving the sanitary condition of the territory of the recreation area of the city of Odessa
