Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the sector for the honorary burials of fallen servicemen, combatants and Defenders of Ukraine on the territory of the Zaturynsky cemetery in the city of Poltava with the installation of a memorial. The project includes landscaping the territory, installing paths and surfaces, installing memorial elements and creating a dignified, orderly space for honoring the memory of the fallen and holding commemorative events.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to overhaul and comprehensively improve the sector for the honorary burials of fallen servicemen, combatants and Defenders of Ukraine on the territory of the Zaturynsky cemetery in the city of Poltava with the installation of a memorial. The project is aimed at creating a dignified, orderly and functional space to honor the memory of the fallen Heroes, ensuring proper conditions for holding commemorative events and visiting the burial site by families, comrades and community residents. Within the framework of the project, the restoration and modernization of the existing infrastructure of the sector is envisaged, in particular, the repair of pavements of pedestrian paths and driveways, the installation of memorial elements, the arrangement of burial sites, the installation of small architectural forms. The project also aims to form a single architectural and artistic image of the memorial space, which will comply with the principles of respect, restraint and aesthetic integrity, as well as preserve the historical and moral value of the burial place. The implementation of the project will contribute to strengthening national memory, patriotic education, social cohesion of the community and the establishment of a respectful attitude towards the feat of the Defenders of Ukraine.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

As a result of the project, the problems will be solved through major repairs and comprehensive landscaping of the territory. Flat and safe pedestrian paths will be arranged, proper drainage and landscaping will be provided. The memorial space will acquire a holistic architectural and artistic appearance, well-organized landscaping and an appropriate aesthetic level. This will create worthy conditions for honoring the memory of fallen soldiers, holding commemorative events and increasing the social and moral value of the object for the territorial community of the city of Poltava.
