Description of the project
What is planned to be implemented: a new veterans' space is planned to be built in the city of Uman, which will provide social, psychological and consulting services to veterans, their family members and the families of the deceased.
What problems does the project solve: the project is aimed at eliminating insufficient access to comprehensive support for veterans, the lack of a specialized space for their social adaptation and limited opportunities for providing relevant services at the local level.
Expected results: creation of a modern veterans' space, improved access to services, increased level of social adaptation of veterans and their integration into the community.

The goal of the project is to create a modern veteran space in the city of Uman to provide comprehensive support for war veterans, their family members and families of the fallen (deceased) Defenders of Ukraine, to promote their social adaptation, psychological recovery and integration into society.
The achievement of this goal is envisaged through the construction of a new multifunctional facility, equipped in accordance with the principles of barrier-free and inclusiveness, which will ensure the provision of psychological, social and consulting services. The project plans to create conditions for individual and group work, educational and rehabilitation activities, as well as establish effective interaction between veterans, authorities and the public.
The implementation of the project will contribute to the formation of a sustainable mechanism for supporting the veteran community at the local level and improving the quality of life of the specified categories of the population.
Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation
The project implementation is aimed at solving key problems related to the insufficient access of war veterans and their family members to comprehensive social, psychological and rehabilitation services, the lack of specialized space for their support, as well as limited opportunities for social adaptation and integration into the community.
As a result of the project implementation, a modern veteran space will be created, which will ensure the provision of high-quality and accessible services, contribute to increasing the level of psychological recovery and social adaptation of veterans, improving their interaction with authorities and the public, as well as reducing social tension in the community.
