General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the roof of a residential building with a complex of works to relieve floors, strengthen and partially replace elements of the wooden rafter system, as well as install a new roofing made of corrugated board. The project is aimed at eliminating the emergency state of structures, eliminating leaks, increasing the reliability and safety of the building's operation, and protecting the load-bearing elements from further destruction. The expected results are to increase the operational durability of the roof, ensure proper drainage, improve the technical condition of the building, and create safe conditions for residents.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to restore the roof to its proper technical condition in order to ensure the safe and uninterrupted operation of the residential building. The goal is to achieve this by strengthening the floor structures and rafter system, replacing damaged elements (mauerlats, purlins, rafters), installing a new roofing, and restoring the drainage system. The current technical condition of the roof (wear, leaks, damage to structures) does not meet regulatory requirements, which creates risks of further destruction of the building and does not provide proper operating conditions.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Key problems include significant physical deterioration of the roof, damage to the wooden rafter system, leaks, and inefficient drainage, which are currently critical due to the risk of further structural damage and deterioration of residents' living conditions. If these problems are not addressed, emergencies are possible, the amount of damage increases, moisture damage to the building's internal structures, and the cost of further repairs increases. The project will improve the reliability and durability of the roof, provide proper protection of the building from weather conditions, and create safe and comfortable living conditions.
