Results of the feasibility analysis
Economic Analysis
Social benefits and costs
Protection of life and health of 500 people (students, teachers, staff and community residents). Psychological safety - students and parents know that there is a safe shelter. Compliance with legislation - compliance with requirements for the availability of shelters in educational institutions.
Environmental benefits and costs
The environmental impact of the project is positive, as it involves the reconstruction of the existing basement without the acquisition of new land. During the work, it is planned to use energy-efficient materials and modern technologies, which will reduce energy consumption. It is planned to comply with the rules for handling construction waste. The reconstruction will improve the sanitary and hygienic conditions of the premises, which will positively affect the health of children and employees. Thus, the project has a neutral or positive impact on the environment
Indirect benefits and costs
Continuity of the educational process - during air raids, children do not leave the institution. Social cohesion - the shelter can be used as a safety point for the community. Possibility of alternative use in peacetime: gym, club room, warehouse. Increased trust in local authorities - ensuring the protection of children increases the authority of the community.
