General information

Description of the project

The overhaul of the non-residential premises of the lyceum involves the repair of all engineering and technical systems of the educational and dormitory buildings and other premises of the building. The project allows creating high-quality conditions for studying and living for students, their leisure time, and will create a safe educational environment. This will significantly increase the interest of students of the Kharkiv region and their legal representatives in studying at the lyceum with enhanced military and physical training and will increase the number of citizens of Ukraine who are ready to acquire military professions or engage in professional sports. It will also significantly contribute to improving the quality of education for adolescents and youth in the front-line region.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The project is aimed at meeting the educational needs of students in the Kharkiv region who choose to study at a lyceum with enhanced military and physical training. It should create appropriate conditions for students to stay in the institution around the clock (during the week): their study, leisure, rest, psychological relief and night sleep. At the same time, it is aimed at implementing the state program to bring the infrastructure facilities of the lyceum with enhanced military and physical training "Patriot" of the Kharkiv Regional Council to a single standard of appearance and material and technical support, in accordance with current legislation and modern educational requirements.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

According to the results of the inspection of the technical condition of the object, the main load-bearing and self-supporting structures are mainly in satisfactory condition, but require restoration work, elimination of existing damage and destruction, as well as ensuring the possibility of further safe operation of the building in accordance with the basic requirements of DBN V.1.2-6:2021 and DBN V.1.2-14:2018. According to the results of the inspection of the building, the following defects and damage to the load-bearing structures were identified: 1) Defects and damage to the load-bearing structures: • local violations of the protective layer (splitting of concrete, exposure of reinforcing bars) of the floor slabs; • areas of poor-quality brickwork: vertical and horizontal mortar joints up to 25 mm, on local areas of the facade walls, the absence of a mortar layer in vertical and horizontal joints; • opening of the joints of the joints of the reinforced concrete floor slabs; • reinforced concrete floor slabs have local areas with traces of reinforcement corrosion; • in some areas of the floors there is no plaster, whitewash of the ceiling; • deviation of the inter-window piers from the vertical and their displacement in the plane of the walls. 2) Defects and damage to non-load-bearing structures: - vertical cracks in the internal partitions of the floor; - destruction and damage to the interior decoration of the premises; - destruction of floor structures (lack of elements, wear, potholes, abrasion, cracks, etc.); - destruction and damage to windows and doors (damage to glass, surfaces, etc.); - damage to window sills (cracks, chips of surfaces, peeling of paint and varnish); - destruction and damage to internal partitions (cracks, opening of seams, chips of plaster, etc.); - damage to suspended ceiling elements; - poor-quality sealing of sleeves and holes for communications; - in the bathrooms, local areas of the walls are covered with mold and fungus.
