Methods of achieving the goal The goal is expected to be achieved by: • creating and equipping a specialized training center for the subject "Defense of Ukraine"; • purchasing modern educational equipment, simulators and means for practical training (in particular, first aid, tactical training, civil defense); • equipping premises with multimedia equipment for interactive learning; • updating the educational and material base in accordance with current educational standards; • implementing practice-oriented teaching methods and modeling real situations; • improving the qualifications of teaching staff to work with modern equipment. Justification of the gap between the current state and the target result Currently, the educational process in the field of teaching "Defense of Ukraine" is characterized by an insufficient level of material and technical support, an outdated educational base and limited opportunities for practical training. Existing resources do not allow to fully implement the requirements of the modern educational program, in particular regarding the formation of practical skills for responding to emergency situations. The target state involves the creation of a full-fledged modern center, equipped in accordance with current standards, which will provide systematic practical training of students, interactive learning and practice of algorithms for actions in crisis situations. The gap between the current and target state is the lack of modern equipment, insufficient integration of the practical component into the educational process and the limited ability of the infrastructure to provide high-quality training for a large number of students in accordance with modern security and defense training requirements.

The main problem that the project aims to solve is the insufficient level of material and technical support for high-quality teaching of the subject "Defense of Ukraine" in the State Technical and Vocational School of the Ukrainian State University of Civil Defense. The existing infrastructure and educational equipment do not allow for the full provision of practical training of students in accordance with modern requirements for security, civil defense, and national resistance. This problem is especially relevant in conditions of martial law and the growing need to form practical skills in emergency situations, first aid, the basics of tactical training, safe behavior, and civic responsibility among young people. Insufficient equipment of the educational space limits the opportunities for conducting high-quality practical classes, training, and modeling real situations. If these problems are not resolved, there is a risk of a decrease in the level of students' preparation for actions in crisis and emergency situations, an insufficient level of development of security and first aid skills, as well as a mismatch of the educational process with modern state requirements and needs of society. The implementation of the project will allow creating a modern specialized center for teaching the subject "Defense of Ukraine", equipped with the necessary equipment, teaching materials and technical means. It is expected to improve the quality of the educational process, increase the share of practical training, increase the level of students' safety competencies, develop first aid skills and readiness for action in emergency situations. In addition, the project will contribute to the creation of a modern safe educational environment, increase the level of national and patriotic education of youth and strengthen the ability of the educational institution to provide training for students in accordance with the current challenges of today.
