General information

Description of the project

The project involves the purchase of specialized electric cars with ramps for free transportation of people with disabilities along the Health Trail to the inclusive beaches of Odessa. It solves the problem of limited access of low-mobility groups to the sea in pedestrian zones where the movement of conventional transport is prohibited. The expected result is the creation of a barrier-free recreational route that will ensure comfortable recovery for veterans and townspeople without harming the ecology of the coast.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the equality of wealth distribution

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The project aims to create barrier-free access to the coast by introducing specialized electric cars that provide comfortable transportation of people with limited mobility from transport hubs directly to the recreation area. The goal is achieved through the purchase of adapted transport with ramps and the development of inclusive routes that function as a connecting link in the urban recreation system. This approach guarantees equal rights to recreation, combining social support with environmental technologies to preserve the natural environment of the beaches.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The implementation of the project eliminates the problem of physical isolation of the coast, replacing difficult sandy and sloping routes with direct inclusive connections from transport hubs. The result will be complete autonomy for people with limited mobility in accessing health services, which removes the psychological barrier and burden on accompanying persons. Thanks to the use of electric transport, the city receives a modern standard of inclusion, which harmoniously integrates into the ecosystem of the recreational area without harming the environment.
