The goal of the project is to restore the authentic appearance of the building, prevent further destruction of its structures, as well as create safe and appropriate conditions for holding cultural and educational events, meetings, exhibitions, theatrical performances and classes of creative groups.

The implementation of the project includes a complex of works on the restoration of facades, roofs, load-bearing structures, renewal of engineering networks, restoration of decorative elements of the interior, partial replacement of window and door fillings in compliance with the requirements of cultural heritage protection. The project also provides for the implementation of internal repair and restoration works, including the arrangement of a modern multifunctional concert hall with a stage, acoustic and lighting equipment, which will allow holding cultural and artistic events at a qualitatively new level. As a result of the project, the preservation of the architectural monument will be ensured, its energy efficiency and functionality will be increased, conditions for the cultural development of the community will be improved, the tourist attractiveness of the city of Sambora will be strengthened, and the level of cultural identity of local residents will be increased.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to improve the condition of the infrastructure and improve the quality of cultural services by carrying out restoration and repair work in the premises of the People's House - a monument of local importance (architecture register No. 2523-m) in the city of Sambir. The implementation of the project is aimed at preserving the historical and cultural heritage, ensuring the safe functioning of the building and creating a modern multifunctional space for cultural and artistic events, classes of creative groups and public initiatives. The goal will be achieved through restoration work on the facades and roof, restoration of the building's structural elements, updating of engineering networks, interior work, including the arrangement of a concert hall with a stage, sound and lighting equipment, as well as improving accessibility for all categories of visitors. The current condition of the facility is characterized by physical wear and tear, the failure of individual elements, outdated communications and non-compliance with modern requirements for cultural institutions, which limits the provision of quality services to the population. The implementation of the project will eliminate the existing gap between the current and target state, ensure the preservation of the architectural heritage, increase the comfort, energy efficiency and accessibility of the facility, contribute to the cultural development of the community and increase its tourist attractiveness.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The key problems that the project implementation should solve are the emergency technical condition of the People's House building, the high level of physical deterioration of structures and engineering networks, the loss of elements of architectural and historical value, as well as the lack of proper conditions for holding cultural and artistic events. Due to damage to the facade, roof and interior spaces, there is a threat of further destruction of the architectural monument and the loss of its cultural heritage. Modern technical equipment is absent, which limits the opportunities for creative activities of groups, concerts, performances, public meetings and the development of cultural life of the community. The relevance of these problems is due to the need to preserve the historical and cultural heritage, improve the quality of cultural services and create a safe, energy-efficient and accessible space for city residents. If the problem is not resolved, there is a risk of further destruction of the building, loss of architectural uniqueness and a decrease in cultural activity of the population, especially young people. The implementation of the project will ensure the restoration of the functionality of the facility, the preservation of its authentic appearance, the creation of a modern concert hall with a stage, and the improvement of conditions for the activities of creative groups and public initiatives. As a result, it is expected to improve the quality of cultural services, strengthen social cohesion of the community, develop cultural tourism, and increase the attractiveness of the city of Sambora as the center of cultural life of the region.
