General information

Description of the project

Providing secondary education institutions with modern teaching aids and equipment is an important component of the implementation of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) reform. The main goal is to create a modern educational environment that will contribute to the formation of key competencies of students, improving the quality of education and introducing innovative teaching methods.

Providing secondary education institutions (SSHE) with teaching aids and equipment, furniture  within the framework of the "New Ukrainian School" (NUS) reform is key to the modernization of the educational process in the Novoyarichivska settlement territorial community. The implementation of the project involves updating the material and technical base of the natural science classrooms, which includes the purchase of modern school furniture (student desks, chairs, laboratory tables, teacher demonstration tables, cabinets for storing reagents and equipment), as well as the purchase of specialized educational equipment for conducting laboratory and practical work in physics and chemistry. In particular, it is planned to purchase demonstration devices, laboratory sets, measuring devices, models, educational stands, didactic materials and other equipment necessary for high-quality teaching of natural sciences.

In addition, the project provides for the overhaul of chemistry and physics classrooms in the ZZSO and DO of I-III grades of the village of Didiliv of the Novoyarichiv village council and in the ZZSO of I-III grades of the village of Borshchovychi of the Novoyarychiv Village Council, which includes interior decoration of premises, arrangement of safe conditions for laboratory work, as well as bringing the premises into compliance with sanitary, construction and educational requirements.

The implementation of such measures will contribute to the creation of a safe, modern and functional educational space, improving the quality of teaching natural sciences, developing students' practical skills and effectively implementing a competency-based approach within the framework of the New Ukrainian School reform.

The purchase of educational equipment for chemistry, physics and furniture (walls - 2 pcs.; teacher's table with a cabinet; demonstration table with sockets - 2 pcs.; laboratory tables - 20 pcs.; chairs - 40 pcs.), is carried out at the expense of the state budget (educational subvention and relevant state programs) – 90%, as well as co-financing from the budget of the Novoyarichiv Village Council - 10%, which amounts to UAH 1,048,222.22.

The overhaul of the physics class in the ZZSO and DO I-III grades of the village of Didiliv of the Novoyarichiv Village Council and the chemistry class in the ZZSO I-III grades of the village of Borshchovychi of the Novoyarichiv Village Council is carried out at the expense of the local budget - 100%, which amounts to UAH 1,000,000.00.

Expected results:

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the public investment project is to create a modern, safe and functional educational environment in secondary education institutions of the Novoyarichiv village council, which will meet the standards of the New Ukrainian School reform and provide students with high-quality conditions for learning, development of key competencies, creativity and socialization. The implementation of the project is aimed at modernizing the material and technical base of community educational institutions, creating an innovative educational space, introducing modern educational technologies and forming a comfortable and accessible environment for all participants in the educational process. To achieve the specified goal, the implementation of the public investment project provides for the implementation of a complex of organizational, infrastructure and material and technical measures, in particular: Modernization of the educational environment through the purchase of educational equipment for the physics classroom in the secondary education center and kindergarten of I-III degrees of the village of Didyliv of the Novoyarichiv village council and the purchase of educational equipment for the chemistry classroom in the secondary education center of I-III degrees of the village of Borshchovychi Novoyarichiv Village Council updating classrooms in accordance with the requirements of the National School of Education by carrying out major repairs: the physics classroom in the ZZSO and the kindergarten of I-III grades of the village of Didyliv Novoyarichiv Village Council and major repairs of the chemistry classroom in the ZZSO of I-III grades of the village of Borshchovychi Novoyarichiv Village Council; creating flexible educational spaces for individual, group and project work of students. Updating the material and technical base purchasing modern ergonomic furniture for students and teachers; providing classrooms with laboratory equipment for the physics and chemistry class; purchasing didactic materials, teaching kits. Equipping the classroom with modern equipment will allow: to conduct full-fledged laboratory and practical work; to develop students' research and analytical skills; to increase students' interest in natural sciences; to ensure safe conditions for conducting experiments; improve the quality of teaching science subjects.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The implementation of the project is aimed at overcoming key problems of the educational infrastructure of secondary education institutions of the Novoyarychiv village council and bringing the educational environment into line with the requirements of the New Ukrainian School reform. 1. Problem: outdated material and technical base Many classrooms use equipment and furniture that are morally and physically outdated and do not meet modern educational standards. Solution result: updating classrooms with modern ergonomic furniture, laboratory equipment, educational materials and technical means of teaching, which will improve the quality of the educational process. 2. Problem: inconsistency of the educational space with modern pedagogical approaches The traditional organization of classrooms does not provide opportunities for teamwork, project activities and interactive learning. Solution result: creation of a flexible educational space with the possibility of rapid transformation of the class for group work, research, practical classes and interactive lessons. 3. Problem: insufficient conditions for practical and laboratory classes The lack of modern equipment makes it difficult to conduct experiments and practical work in natural sciences. Solution result: equipping physics, chemistry and other subject rooms with the necessary laboratory equipment, which will allow students to gain practical skills and develop research thinking. 4. Problem: insufficient level of inclusiveness of the educational environment The existing infrastructure is not fully adapted for teaching children with special educational needs. Solution result: creating an accessible and barrier-free educational environment that will ensure equal opportunities for all students. Overall result of the project implementation As a result of the project implementation, a modern educational space will be created that will meet the standards of the NUS reform, contribute to improving the quality of education, developing key competencies of students, forming an interest in learning and ensuring comfortable and safe conditions for the educational process. This will increase the efficiency of education, the competitiveness of community educational institutions, and the overall level of educational services.
