The purpose of the project is to create a modern, properly equipped educational space for teaching the subject "Defense of Ukraine", which will ensure high-quality training of senior students for actions in emergency situations, the formation of first aid skills, civil defense, safe behavior and basic knowledge of national security and defense. The implementation of the project is aimed at increasing the level of practical training of students, developing their responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others, forming civic consciousness and readiness to act in crisis situations, which is especially relevant in the conditions of martial law in Ukraine. The method of achieving the goal involves the implementation of a set of organizational and material and technical measures, in particular: re-equipping the educational center with modern teaching aids and equipment for teaching the subject "Defense of Ukraine" in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; purchase of educational and training equipment, models, simulators and tools for practicing practical skills in first aid, tactical medicine, civil defense and safe behavior; creation of conditions for conducting practical classes, trainings and training simulations of various emergency situations; updating the material and technical base of the classroom, which will allow the use of modern teaching methods, interactive tools and demonstration materials; improving the quality of the educational process through practice-oriented learning and the formation of necessary life competencies in students. As a result of the project, students will have the opportunity to receive high-quality knowledge and practical skills necessary to preserve life and health, provide assistance to victims, as well as correct actions in the event of emergencies or security threats. The implementation of the project will also contribute to increasing the level of safety culture among students and creating a safe educational environment in the community.

Today, the material and technical support of the center for the subject "Defense of Ukraine" in the ZZSO of I-III levels of the Novyi Yarychiv village is insufficient for full-fledged practical classes in accordance with the requirements of the modern educational program. The available equipment is limited and partially outdated, which does not allow for the full development of practical skills in first aid, civil defense, tactical training and actions in emergency situations. In this regard, students have limited opportunities for practical assimilation of knowledge, which is an important component of the subject "Defense of Ukraine". In conditions of martial law and increased security challenges, the issue of high-quality training of young people for actions in crisis situations, the provision of first aid and the formation of a culture of security becomes particularly relevant. Results of solving the problem as a result of the project implementation: The implementation of the project will allow to equip the center of the subject "Defense of Ukraine" with modern educational equipment, simulators and teaching aids, which will ensure the possibility of conducting high-quality theoretical and practical classes. As a result of the project implementation, the following will be achieved: The material and technical base of the training center will be improved; Proper conditions will be created for conducting practical classes and training; The quality of teaching the subject "Defense of Ukraine" will be improved; Students will be formed with practical skills in providing first aid, emergency actions and the basics of civil protection; The level of safety culture and responsibility of students will be increased; The compliance of the training center with modern requirements and recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will be ensured. As a result, the implementation of the project will contribute to preparing students for conscious and correct actions in emergency situations, developing civic responsibility, and increasing the level of safety of the educational environment in the community.
