Description of the project

The project involves providing secondary education institutions with modern teaching aids and equipment for the high-quality implementation of the "New Ukrainian School" reform. The initiative plans to update the material and technical base of classrooms and study rooms by purchasing teaching materials, teaching kits, computer and multimedia equipment, furniture, laboratory and demonstration equipment (if necessary - for STEM/natural sciences), as well as equipping an inclusive educational environment. The project is aimed at creating safe and comfortable learning conditions, developing key competencies of students, improving the quality of educational services and ensuring equal access of children to modern educational resources regardless of their place of residence.

The goal of the project is to create a modern, safe and inclusive educational environment in secondary education institutions for the full implementation of the New Ukrainian School (NUS) reform. The project is aimed at improving the quality of education through the renewal of the material and technical base, the introduction of a competency-based approach, the development of digital skills, critical thinking and practice-oriented learning. The implementation of the project will allow: to provide students and teachers with modern teaching aids and equipment; to increase the efficiency of the educational process through interactive and digital tools; to create conditions for the development of STEM/natural competences (if necessary); to ensure the accessibility of education for children with special educational needs; to unify and equalize learning conditions between schools in the community/district. Method of achieving the goal (implementation mechanism) To achieve the goal of the project, a set of sequential measures is envisaged: Needs assessment and planning of provision conducting an inventory of existing equipment and teaching aids in schools; forming a list of needs by area (primary school of the National Secondary School, classrooms, inclusion, digital resources); prioritizing purchases according to the number of students, the state of the material base and educational programs; preparing technical requirements and specifications for equipment. Procurement of teaching aids and equipment It is planned to purchase (depending on the needs of institutions): didactic materials and teaching kits for the National Secondary School; furniture and classroom equipment (desk/chair of appropriate height, cabinets, mobile modules, etc.); computer and multimedia equipment (laptops/PCs for teachers and students, projectors, screens, interactive panels/whiteboards, printers/MFPs, network equipment); laboratory and demonstration equipment for natural sciences and STEM (if necessary); equipment for inclusive education (special didactic aids, correctional equipment, assistive devices - according to the conclusions of the IRC and the needs of students). Installation, configuration and commissioning delivery, installation and connection of equipment; configuration of software, access to the network and educational platforms; organization of storage and accounting of property, instruction in safe operation.
