General information

Description of the project

The equipped protective structure of civil defense, taking into account the requirements for fire safety, requirements for the required number of evacuation exits, the availability of water supply, ventilation, heating, lighting, Internet, and medical care facilities, will enable participants in the educational process of Gymnasium No. 4 (827 students, 57 teaching staff, 28 service personnel) to carry out the educational process in a face-to-face format. Currently, students of Gymnasium No. 4 study in a mixed format in the second shift on the basis of a general secondary education institution (Primary School named after Silvia Oleksandrivna Morozova, city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odessa region), which has the simplest shelter, in the second shift. The new construction of a dual-purpose building with the properties of the PRU ZZSO No. 4, in turn, will relieve the educational institution where students of Gymnasium No. 4 study, which will provide an opportunity to carry out the educational process also in a face-to-face format in one shift of students from both institutions. It should be noted that the number of children from among internally displaced persons who receive education in a mixed format has increased in the city's educational institutions, but there is a desire of parents and students to receive education exclusively in a face-to-face format. And as a result, this will improve the quality of the educational process, the mental health of participants in the educational process of the city's educational institutions.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

To complete the construction of the civil defense facility of Gymnasium No. 4, additional funding is required through subvention and co-financing from the local budget. The new construction of a dual-purpose facility with the properties of the Civil Defense Facility of Gymnasium No. 4, in turn, will relieve the educational institution where students of Gymnasium No. 4 study, which will provide an opportunity to carry out the educational process also in a face-to-face format in one shift.
