General information

Description of the project

The purpose of the project is to ensure the proper technical condition of the road infrastructure on Yevhen Andriyuk Street (from the intersection with Barska Street to the intersection with Boris Oliynyk Street). The project is aimed at increasing the level of road safety, reducing the level of accidents, improving transport connections between residential areas and creating convenient and safe conditions for the movement of city residents. This goal is expected to be achieved by carrying out a complex of construction and repair works, including the complete replacement of the asphalt coating, the arrangement of a drainage system and the creation of conditions for safe pedestrian traffic. The implementation of these measures will significantly improve the quality of the road infrastructure on this site and will ensure a long-term effect from the overhaul.  &

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary goal:

Improving the equality of wealth distribution

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The project envisages ensuring proper technical condition and infrastructure development by carrying out major repairs of Yevhen Andriyuk Street (from the intersection with Barska Street to the intersection with Borys Oliynyk Street), which will contribute to increasing the level of road safety, reducing the negative impact on the environment, improving travel conditions for residents and creating prerequisites for sustainable development of the territory. The goal is to achieve this by restoring the roadbed using modern environmentally friendly materials, installing a drainage system to prevent the destruction of the pavement. Organizing convenient and safe pedestrian zones and modernizing adjacent infrastructure.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The main problem that necessitates the implementation of the project is the unsatisfactory condition of the road surface on Yevhen Andriyuk Street. A worn road surface creates a danger for all road users, increases the risk of accidents, causes additional material costs for vehicle owners, slows down traffic and reduces the efficiency of emergency and utility services. In addition, the poor condition of the surface limits residents' access to key social infrastructure facilities, complicates pedestrian movement, and also creates additional difficulties for people with disabilities and other categories of citizens with limited mobility. The result of the project will be safe and comfortable movement around the city, improvement of the general condition of the infrastructure, reduction of vehicle operating costs and improvement of the quality of life of residents of nearby areas.
