Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to create a modern, safe and innovative educational environment for secondary school I-III grades. No. 1 in Zboriv and a pilot lyceum based on the Zboriv Lyceum named after Roman Zavadovych, which will ensure the effective implementation of the standards of the National School of Education and the formation of key competencies of students. The project is aimed at developing child-centered, competency-based and activity-based learning, increasing student motivation and improving the results of the educational process, as well as creating equal access to modern educational resources. Ways to achieve the goal: 1. Creation of a natural science laboratory (by purchasing teaching aids, computer and multimedia equipment, etc.), which will allow the implementation of interactive and activity-based teaching methods. 2. Updating furniture and organizing flexible learning space (modular cells, single desks and chairs), which ensures individual and group work of students. 3. Creation of a single educational space in a pilot lyceum based on the Roman Zavadovych Zboriv Lyceum by equipping science classrooms in accordance with the state standard for specialized secondary education. 4. Creation of a STEM laboratory in a pilot lyceum based on the Roman Zavadovych Zboriv Lyceum. Creation of a safe and inclusive environment that takes into account the principles of barrier-free and accessibility for all students, including children with disabilities.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The primary problem of the education sector is the insufficient material and technical support of educational institutions. Therefore, teachers cannot fully teach updated subject curricula, and students, in turn, cannot master modern knowledge. It was the "New Ukrainian School" reform that gave a clear task to update the material and technical condition of educational institutions. If this problem is not resolved, we will have the following negative consequences: 1) in the long term, an educational institution that is not provided with the necessary will close; 2) the prestige of educational institutions will fall; 3) teachers will be uncompetitive in the labor market and in their field, since they will not be able to teach the material qualitatively; 4) loss of jobs; 5) a decrease in the level of students' knowledge and their unpreparedness for the modern market world; 6) an increase in the level of social tension among community residents. In the event of intervention in this problem and its solution through the implementation of this project, all of the above trends will be transformed into a positive form. Problems solved by the project: 1. Insufficient quality of implementation of NUSh standards due to insufficient classroom equipment. 2. Limited opportunities for interactive and activity-based learning, which reduces student motivation. 3. Insufficient inclusiveness and comfort of the educational environment, which limits access for children with individual educational needs. 4. Lack of multimedia equipment and modern didactic materials, which complicates the development of key competencies. Expected results of the project: 1. Improvement of the educational environment: two educational institutions by equipping them with modern multimedia equipment and didactics. 2. Improving the quality of education: introduction of interactive and activity-based teaching methods. 3. Development of key student competencies: critical thinking, communication, independent learning, social skills. 4. Inclusivity and accessibility: equal access is ensured for all students, including children with disabilities. 5. Increasing student motivation and interest through modern equipment and teaching materials.
