Description of the project

The project is aimed at modernizing the material and technical base of secondary education institutions in the Zhovtanets community in accordance with the requirements of the “New Ukrainian School” reform. Effective implementation of model educational programs requires modern equipment and teaching aids that ensure high-quality assimilation of knowledge and development of students’ competencies. The project plans to equip classrooms with computer technology, multimedia, STEM equipment, inclusive elements, and modern furniture. Specific types of equipment and priority educational institutions will be determined based on the results of clarifying needs and available funding. The implementation of the project will promote equal access of children to high-quality and modern education.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to modernize the material and technical base of secondary education institutions of the Zhovtanets territorial community to ensure compliance with modern standards of education in accordance with the “New Ukrainian School” reform. This involves improving the state of educational infrastructure, creating a safe, accessible and digitalized educational environment. To achieve the goal of the project, classrooms will be provided with modern teaching aids, computer technology, multimedia and STEM equipment, furniture and inclusive elements in accordance with the updated Standard List of the Ministry of Education and Science. The specific list of equipment and priority institutions will be determined after clarifying their needs and the amount of available funding. The expected result is an improvement in the quality of the educational process, the development of key and cross-cutting competencies of students, expanding opportunities for interactive and practical learning, as well as ensuring equal access of children to quality education.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Problems: the material and technical base of general secondary education institutions is outdated and does not meet the requirements of the model curricula of the National Secondary Schools; the insufficient number of modern computer technology and multimedia equipment limits the possibilities of digital learning; the limited provision of STEM equipment does not allow organizing full-fledged research and practice-oriented classes; the level of equipment provision differs significantly between schools in the community, which causes unequal access of students to quality education; the existing educational environment is not sufficiently adapted for inclusive learning. Expected results of solving problems: providing classrooms with modern teaching aids in accordance with the requirements of the National Secondary Schools; increasing the efficiency of the educational process, developing key competencies and digital literacy of education seekers; creating equal conditions for access to quality education for students of all community institutions; expanding opportunities for practical, research and interactive forms of learning; ensuring an inclusive, safe and comfortable educational environment.
