General information

Description of the project

The project involves major repairs to the pavement and part of Heroes of the Anti-Terrorist Operation Street in the central part of Mena to ensure safe, inclusive, and comfortable pedestrian movement. The repairs include replacing the pavement, curbs, installing a drainage system, waterproofing the blind area along the Cultural Center, and creating barrier-free access for people with limited mobility.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to restore and improve the transport and pedestrian infrastructure and improve the central part of the city of Mena. The project provides for: Overhaul of 179 m² of road surface and 367 m² of sidewalk. Installation of 22 m of drainage channels and 245 m² of new pedestrian areas. Ensuring barrier-free access to social infrastructure facilities. Reducing the risks of flooding and destruction of building facades. Increasing the comfort and safety of movement for community residents.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The street has a high level of physical wear and tear, which affects the safety of movement and the possible destruction of the foundation of the House of Culture. The project provides for a major overhaul, which will restore pedestrian and transport routes and make the street accessible to all population groups.
