Description of the project

The project involves the reconstruction and improvement of the park-monument of landscape art "Park of the Rozdil Sanatorium", which is part of the historical complex of the Rzewuski-Lancykoronski Palace. The main goal is to preserve the historical landscape of the park, restore its natural and architectural value, as well as create a safe and well-maintained public space for visitors. The project plans to conduct an inventory of green spaces, rehabilitate damaged and diseased trees, dismantle construction debris and clear buildings of biofouling. It also includes emergency work, including the installation of supports and scaffolding, the reconstruction of newly discovered buildings and dungeons, and the repair and restoration of historical buildings and small architectural forms. To improve the park's infrastructure, engineering networks will be modernized and replaced, external water supply and drainage networks will be equipped, a system of organized drainage from the territory, pedestrian paths, territory lighting, landscaping (grass sowing, planting bushes) and shelters will be installed. The implementation of the project will contribute to the preservation of the unique cultural and natural heritage, increase the safety of the territory and create a modern recreational space for residents and guests of the community.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to preserve and restore the park-monument of landscape art "Park of the Rozdil Sanatorium", improve its ecological condition, restore the historical landscape and create a safe, orderly and accessible recreational space for community residents and visitors. To achieve this goal, within the framework of the implementation of the public investment project, a set of environmental protection, restoration and infrastructure measures is planned. In particular, it is planned to conduct an inventory of the park's green spaces and rehabilitate damaged and diseased trees, which will improve the condition of the green spaces and ensure their proper maintenance. It also provides for the dismantling of construction debris, clearing buildings of bio-growth, and the installation of emergency supports and scaffolding to stabilize damaged structures. The project also provides for the reconstruction of newly discovered buildings and dungeons in the park, repair and reproduction of buildings and small architectural forms that have historical and cultural value. To improve the engineering and recreational infrastructure, it is planned to replace and modernize engineering networks, install external water supply and drainage networks, organize a system of organized drainage from the territory, install pedestrian paths, illuminate the park territory, carry out landscaping (sowing grass and planting shrubs), as well as arrange shelters. The need to implement the project is due to the fact that today the park is in an unsatisfactory technical and environmental condition. Part of the green areas is damaged or diseased, there are construction debris on the territory, individual buildings and underground facilities are in an emergency or neglected condition. Engineering networks are outdated or absent, and the infrastructure for visitors is practically not equipped. Thus, there is a significant gap between the current state of the park and the target level of its functioning as a well-groomed historical, natural and recreational space. The implementation of the project will eliminate these problems, ensure the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, increase the safety of the territory, and create a comfortable environment for recreation for residents and guests of the community.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The main problem is the unsatisfactory technical and sanitary condition of the territory of the park-monument of landscape art "Park of the Sanatorium Rozdil", which is part of the historical complex of the Zhevuski-Lancykoronski Palace. A significant part of the green spaces requires inventory and rehabilitation due to damage, aging and tree diseases. The territory contains construction debris, bio-growth on buildings, as well as damaged or partially destroyed historical structures and underground facilities. The park's infrastructure is outdated or absent: there are no proper engineering networks of water supply and drainage, an organized drainage system, lighting of the territory and equipped pedestrian paths. This limits the safe and full use of the territory by community residents and visitors, and also creates risks of further destruction of historical sites. The urgency of the project implementation is due to the need to preserve the cultural and natural heritage site, improve the ecological condition of the territory and create appropriate conditions for recreation for the population. If these problems are not resolved, further deterioration of the condition of green spaces, destruction of historical buildings and structures, loss of valuable elements of cultural heritage, as well as restriction of community access to high-quality public space is possible. The implementation of the project will allow to improve the park area, restore green spaces, modernize engineering infrastructure, equip paths, lighting and landscaping of the territory. This will contribute to the preservation of historical, cultural and natural heritage, increase the safety and comfort of visitors, develop the recreational potential of the territory and improve the quality of life of community residents.
