Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Ensuring the proper level of fire and technogenic safety in the Mensk supporting institution of general secondary education of I-III grades named after T.G.Shevchenko of the Mensk City Council The project to ensure fire and technogenic safety in the educational institution: -meets the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine in the field of civil protection and education; -is coordinated with state, regional and local development strategies; -is aimed at creating a safe educational environment, protecting the life and health of students and employees of the institution; -contributes to increasing the level of readiness of the facility to act in case of emergency situations.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

In most cases, the absence or insufficient provision of educational institutions with fire alarm and warning systems is observed due to the lack of necessary funding. However, the absence of the necessary fire protection systems refers to a violation of the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety, which poses a threat to the life and health of people and is, according to Article 68 of the Civil Protection Code of Ukraine, a reason for officials of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine to apply to the administrative court for the application of response measures in the form of a complete or partial suspension of the work of such institutions. In addition, in the event of a fire, there may be an untimely notification of the fire and a late notification, which increases the likelihood of the most negative and tragic consequences. Therefore, today, providing institutions with the necessary fire protection systems is one of the most priority tasks, the implementation of which should be achieved by all possible methods and means of influence.
