Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

creation of modern infrastructure for temporary storage and pre-treatment of household waste by building a site with a sorting line with compaction. The implementation of the project is aimed at reducing the volume of waste subject to landfill, increasing the level of its recycling and efficient use of secondary resources. The introduction of waste sorting and compaction will allow optimizing the MSW management system in the community, improving the sanitary condition of settlements and ensuring the ecological safety of the territory. is envisaged by building a site for temporary storage of household waste, equipped with a sorting line with compaction. The project includes the arrangement of a production area with a hard surface, a place for temporary waste storage, a place for storing waste of various fractions, a canopy, a sorting system, water supply and drainage systems, a ventilation system, lighting and fencing of the territory. It is planned to install equipment for sorting, pressing and temporary storage of waste of various fractions, as well as organize the logistics of their further transportation for processing or disposal. The implementation of a set of technical and organizational measures will ensure the effective functioning of the system of separate collection and processing of household waste, reduce the load on the landfill and contribute to increasing the level of environmental safety of the community.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The community does not have a system for separate collection and sorting of household waste. All waste is accumulated together and taken to the landfill, which leads to its overloading, an increase in the amount of waste to be disposed of, and a negative impact on the environment. Insufficient infrastructure makes it impossible to effectively use secondary raw materials and does not meet the requirements of current Ukrainian legislation and EU directives. The implementation of the project will ensure the creation of a modern infrastructure for sorting household waste and compacting waste of different fractions. This will reduce the volume of waste that is disposed of, increase the level of recycling of secondary raw materials, and improve the environmental condition of the community
