The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the condition of infrastructure

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to ensure the safety of participants in the educational process and employees of the institution by carrying out a major overhaul of the civil defense protective structure (shelter), bringing it into compliance with regulatory requirements for engineering and technical condition, ventilation, water supply, electricity supply and conditions for people to stay. The project is aimed at creating a safe environment during martial law and increasing the level of community preparedness for emergencies. Methods of achieving the goal: Conducting a technical inspection of the shelter to determine the scope of work and drawing up design and estimate documentation. Carrying out major repairs of structural elements (walls, floors, ceilings, waterproofing, stairs, doors). Modernization of life support systems: installation of a new ventilation and lighting system; arrangement of sanitary facilities, water supply and drainage; installation of emergency power supply (generator). Conducting a check of compliance with civil defense requirements and commissioning.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The existing shelter has a high level of physical wear and tear: damaged walls and floors, outdated or missing ventilation, water supply and sewage systems, no emergency lighting. In the current conditions of martial law, ensuring the safety of children is a priority task for the state and local communities. Creating a safe, dry, lighted and ventilated shelter that meets state standards. Expected positive changes after the project implementation: Increasing the level of safety of students and employees of the educational institution. Ensuring the continuity of the educational process even during air raids. Creating comfortable and decent conditions for staying in emergency situations. Increasing community trust in local authorities and the educational institution. Compliance of the institution with modern civil protection standards.
