General information

Description of the project

Mitskevycha Street in the Novy Yarychiv settlement of the Lviv district of the Lviv region is located within the boundaries of the settlement. The working project provides for measures designed to improve the transport and operational performance of the road by installing a road surface with alignment of the longitudinal profile, adjusting existing transverse profiles, and improving the longitudinal water intake and drainage system from the roadway.

The purpose of the project

Main Goal:

Improving the condition of infrastructure

Secondary Goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the equality of wealth distribution, Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities, Creation of new jobs through project implementation

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to ensure safe, efficient and sustainable transport connections by carrying out major repairs to the road, which is of great importance for the socio-economic development of the region, increasing population mobility, reducing vehicle operating costs, and reducing accident rates.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

There are no sidewalks, which creates a danger for pedestrians. The road surface is destroyed, there are potholes, cracks, which complicates the movement of traffic. There is no drainage system, which causes flooding during rains. As a result of the project, high-quality asphalt concrete pavement will be restored, which will ensure safe traffic. It is also planned to install new sidewalks, which will increase pedestrian safety.
