General information

Description of the project

The municipal non-profit enterprise of the Kamianka City Council "City Emergency Hospital" is a cluster healthcare institution and is part of a capable network. It serves not only the residents of the city, but also the entire Kamianka district (426,201), the institution has a bed capacity of 900 beds, and employs 747 medical workers. The purpose of the institution is to provide 24-hour specialized medical care and rehabilitation to residents of the city and Kamianka district, IDPs, military personnel and persons injured as a result of military operations. This institution is designated as a support facility for providing inpatient care to patients with acute respiratory disease COVID-19. The institution operates the only inpatient departments in the city, namely: ophthalmology, infectious diseases, otolaryngology, urology, rheumatology, surgical purulent-septic, pediatric surgical.  The only outpatient hemodialysis department in the Kamiansky district works in three shifts, and about 7,000 hemodialysis procedures are performed in the institution annually.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

"Main types of work: Modernization of the internal heating system; Renovation of the mechanical ventilation system with the installation of a recuperative heat recovery unit with an intermediate coolant; Insulation of external walls; Insulation of the ceiling of an unheated attic; Insulation of the ceiling above an unheated basement; Insulation of the combined covering; Insulation of the ceiling above the driveways; Insulation of external walls below ground level; Replacement of window structures; Replacement of old doors with energy-saving ones; Modernization of the lighting system; Thermal insulation of heating system pipelines; Local roof restoration; Entrance group, porches, attics; Internal work (decoration, floors, etc.); Electrical solutions (power supply, sockets, etc.): Replacement elevators; Improvement.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The project provides for comprehensive measures for major repairs (thermal modernization) of the main building, equipping it with modern equipment and arranging landscaping of the territory. KNP KMR "MLSHMD" is a multidisciplinary healthcare institution providing emergency and secondary (specialized) medical care, serving the population of the city of Kamianske and the surrounding areas, which are part of the Kamianske hospital district (Petrykivskyi, Tsarychanskyi, Verkhnyodniprovskyi, Pyatikhatskyi, Krynychanskyi districts and the city of Vilnohirsk).
