Description of the project
The project involves the new construction of an underground reinforced concrete dual-purpose structure with anti-radiation properties on the territory of the Prydniprovsky Lyceum of the Chervonohryhorivskaya Village Council. The structure is designed to shelter 300 people - students, teachers and staff.
The facility will be built according to a reuse project, which shortens the implementation period, reduces the cost of design and ensures compliance with the current DBN on civil protection, safety and accessibility. The project provides for a full range of engineering systems: power supply with a backup diesel generator, ventilation, water supply and drainage, sanitary and household premises, evacuation exits, as well as landscaping of the territory. The main problem that the project solves is - lack of shelter in a general secondary education institution located in a frontline community, which makes in-person learning impossible and creates a constant threat to the lives of participants in the educational process, including children of internally displaced persons, servicemen, and orphans. The community territory is regularly subjected to artillery shelling, and the existing structures do not provide the proper level of protection.
Expected results:
- creation of safe conditions for 300 people during emergencies;
- resumption of full-time education at the Prydniprovsky Lyceum;
- increasing the level of civil protection and social resilience of the community;
- forming a safe educational environment that meets state standards and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3, 4, 11).
