General information

Description of the project

The existing multi-storey building  is located on the territory of the KP "Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 1", at the address: 5 Yu. Kaminsky Street, Metallurgical District, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Region. The Metallurgical District is located in the southern part of the city. The intensive care building is a two-storey, brick building with a basement. Year of construction - 1960s. The roof of the intensive care building is in critical condition: there are leaks that lead to humidity in the premises, which, in turn, negatively affects the comfort of patients and the safety of medical equipment. Leaks also create risks for the normal functioning of medical institutions, especially in the intensive care unit, where the stability of patients' living conditions is critically important. The design solution of the working project provides for major repairs of: the facades of the intensive care building, namely: elimination of defects on the facades of the building with restoration of the exterior decoration; the roof and attic roof of the intensive care building, namely: dismantling of the wooden rafter system, followed by the implementation of a new roof structure. The project is also aimed at creating an inclusive environment that takes into account the needs of people with disabilities, women and men, and also provides equal opportunities for all users of the facility.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards

Secondary goal:

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the project is to carry out major repairs to the roof and facades of the intensive care unit of the infectious diseases hospital on the territory of the KP "Kryvyi Rih City Hospital No. 1" of the Kryvyi Rih City Council, located at: 5 Yuriy Kaminsky St., Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, in order to ensure the proper technical condition of the building, increase the level of safety of patients and staff, improve energy efficiency and create modern conditions for the provision of medical care. Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The roof of the intensive care unit is in critical condition: there are leaks that lead to humidity in the premises, which, in turn, negatively affects the comfort of patients and the safety of medical equipment. Leaks also pose risks to the normal functioning of medical institutions, especially in the intensive care unit, where the stability of patients' living conditions is critically important. Carrying out major repairs to the roof, including dismantling old materials, laying new waterproofing and heat-insulating coatings, and installing a modern roofing coating that reduces the risk of leaks and improves energy performance.
