Description of the project

The goal of the public investment program is to ensure access to high-quality and safe food in educational institutions by developing a modern infrastructure of canteens (catering units). The program includes the restoration and modernization of catering units of technological processes, improving energy efficiency indicators and adhering to the principles of hazard analysis and control systems at critical points

The purpose of the project

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

Carry out technical re-equipment of catering units (purchase of modern energy-saving equipment - combi-steamers, refrigerators, electric stoves, hoods, etc.); • Reconstruct the dining room premises taking into account zoning, ventilation, water supply, lighting; • Introduce the HACCP food safety system; • Equip catering units with furniture, sanitary equipment and dishes; • Provide training for staff in healthy eating standards.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

- Improving the quality and safety of food for more than _ children in the community; - Increasing the percentage of children covered by hot meals (up to 100% in junior grades); - Reducing the energy consumption of equipment by 25–30%; - Compliance of all catering units with HACCP requirements and sanitary standards; - Creating comfortable working conditions for canteen staff.
