General information

Description of the project

 The project plans to install three external ramps (2 to the central entrance, 1 to the Indestructible Point) and an external elevator to the shelter, reconstruct the stairs in accordance with regulatory requirements, replace the entrance group, equip an external and internal navigation system, develop and implement contrasting marking of elements, install a lift on the stage, perform appropriate lowering at the entrance to the auditorium, install handrails along the wall in the auditorium, equip bathrooms for people belonging to the MGN, equip a children's playroom, provide tactile navigation, and equip accessible evacuation routes.

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The main goal is to transform the Cinema and Concert Complex into an inclusive cultural hub, where every resident and guest of Slavutych, regardless of their level of mobility, has equal access to cultural services, art, and public life. Ensuring full physical accessibility, social integration, aesthetic and technical modernization, and ensuring rapid and safe evacuation of all categories of citizens in case of emergencies.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The implementation of the project is divided into several strategic areas: 1. External accessibility (Entrance group and adjacent territory): installation of regulatory ramps equipped with double-sided handrails; zero threshold: repair of entrance thresholds to ensure a completely smooth transition between the square and the foyer; tactile navigation on the square: installation of tactile indicators (TTI) from the parking lots directly to the entrance to the KKK. 2. Internal mobility: installation of elevators/lifts, adaptation of the auditorium, stage accessibility. 3. Specialized restrooms: installation of universal cabins with enough space for a wheelchair to turn around, equipped with folding handrails, an alarm button and low-mounted mirrors/dryers. 4. Information and sensory accessibility: Braille navigation, installation of sound amplification systems in the auditorium for people with hearing impairments (using hearing aids), contrast marking.
