General information

Description of the project

The project is aimed at providing housing for orphans and children deprived of parental care who are registered in the Zhovtanetsk territorial community. The project envisages the purchase of housing that will meet state standards for a safe and accessible environment. The implementation of the project solves the problem of children not having their own housing and creates conditions for their social adaptation, independent life and integration into the community. The expected result is to provide each child registered with decent housing conditions and implement their constitutional right to housing.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Ensuring inclusiveness and equal opportunities

Secondary goal:

Reducing territorial or social gaps

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The goal of the project is to ensure equal access to safe and decent housing for orphans and children deprived of parental care in the Zhovtanetsk community. To achieve this goal, it is planned to purchase housing in accordance with state standards of inclusiveness and accessibility. Such a solution eliminates the existing social gap between the need for children for their own housing and the lack of its provision today. The implementation of the project will allow children to exercise their constitutional right to housing, create conditions for their independent life, successful adaptation and integration into the community, and also reduce the risks of social isolation and inequality of opportunities in the future.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

The main problem is the failure to fulfill the legally guaranteed right of orphans and children deprived of parental care to housing, which creates a high risk of social vulnerability, homelessness, and unequal opportunities in later life. The lack of their own housing makes it impossible for young people to fully integrate into the community after leaving the care system. The implementation of the project will allow providing children with housing that meets state standards, which will contribute to their independence, social adaptation, and equal access to development opportunities. The project will minimize social risks and create the prerequisites for a safe, stable, and independent future for vulnerable youth.
