The goal of the project is to ensure a worthy commemoration of the fallen Defenders of Ukraine - natives and residents of the Zhovtanetsk territorial community, by creating a modern, accessible and safe memorial complex. The implementation of the project will eliminate the existing social gap associated with the lack of a specially equipped place to honor the Heroes and hold commemorative events, which currently limits the opportunities of the public and families of the deceased in preserving national memory. Through the implementation of a new object of national memory, a space will be created for the consolidation of the community, strengthening its resilience, patriotic education of youth and ensuring constant access of citizens to the place of honoring the Heroes.

The Zhovtanetsk territorial community lacks a properly equipped memorial space for a worthy commemoration of the fallen Defenders of Ukraine. This creates a social imbalance and limits the opportunities of the community and the families of the fallen in preserving national memory. Commemorative events are held in temporary or random locations that do not meet the requirements of safety, accessibility, and state memorial policy. The lack of a single center of memory complicates the consolidation of the community, deprives young people of systematic patriotic education, and reduces the level of social stability during the war. In addition, this creates psychological pressure on the families of the Heroes, as a place for permanent commemoration is not provided, and fragmentation in the visualization of information about the fallen soldiers continues. If the problem is not resolved, the gap between people's need to honor heroes and the capabilities of the community will remain, and there is a risk of losing an important layer of memory about the feat of local residents in the fight for Ukraine's independence. The implementation of the project will ensure the creation of a modern memorial complex, which will become a place of unity, support and formation of national identity; will increase the quality and accessibility of public services in the field of memory; will improve the psychological well-being of the families of the deceased; will contribute to strengthening the patriotic education of youth and strengthening the social cohesion of the community.
