General information

Description of the project

Type of construction - restoration. Usable area - 369.33 m, capacity, capacity, throughput - 476 people. The construction site is located in the central complex protection zone, within the central historical area in the block bounded by Shevchenko Street and Mishchenko Street, historically composed of the city center and is a cultural heritage site in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of Cultural Heritage" No. 1805-III of 08.06.2000. Building of a municipal institution for the arrangement of the "simplest shelter" "Poltava City Multi-Profile Lyceum No. 1 named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky of the Poltava City Council of the Poltava Region" is located in the central complex protection zone, within the central historical area in the block bounded by Shevchenko Street and Mishchenko Street, historically composed of the city center. The first one-story building was built in 1872 on the corner of Novo-Poltavska and Myasnitskaya Streets (now Shevchenko Street and Mishchenko Street). In 1903, the building was renovated with a second-story addition. A gymnasium began to function in the building. In the sixties of the twentieth century, the school building was completed, a third floor and a wing with a gym and assembly halls were added. To this day, the building is operated by Poltava City Multidisciplinary Lyceum No. 1 named after I.P. Kotlyarevsky. The building has a complex shape in plan (the historical part is U-shaped) and 2-3 floors. According to the Decision of the extraordinary 58th session of the 5th convocation of the Poltava City Council dated October 21, 2010, the lyceum building is a cultural heritage site - an architectural monument of local importance.
