General information

Description of the project

The project involves the construction of a sewage network along Naddnistryanska, Malekhivska, Konovaltsa, Mykolaivska, Kryvonosa, Pryamya and Prydorozhnyi avenues in the town of Novy Rozdil, Stryi district, Lviv region. The work will include laying new sewer collectors, arranging connections for households, installing inspection wells, as well as conducting commissioning works. What problems does the project solve? Lack of a centralized sewage network on the specified streets. Use of cesspools and septic tanks, which creates a threat of groundwater contamination and worsening of the sanitary and epidemiological situation. Low level of comfort for residents and limited possibilities for connecting new residential and commercial buildings. Expected results Providing residents with a modern centralized sewage system. Reducing the environmental load and improving the state of the environment. Increasing the level of sanitary safety and quality of life of the population. Creating conditions for the further development of the city's residential and social infrastructure.

The purpose of the project

Main goal:

Improving the quality of services

Secondary goal:

Increasing compliance with modern standards, Improving the equality of wealth distribution, Improving the condition of infrastructure

Description of the purpose of the project and ways to achieve it

The purpose of the public investment project Providing residents of Naddnistryanska, Malekhivska, Konovaletsa, Mykolaivska, Kryvonosa, Pryam and Prydorozhnyi avenues in the city of Novy Rozdil with a modern centralized sewage system in order to increase the level of sanitary safety, improve the environmental situation and create conditions for the sustainable development of the city's housing and social infrastructure. Methods of achieving the goal construction of new sewer networks on designated streets; arrangement of inspection wells, connections for households and social infrastructure facilities; carrying out commissioning work and putting the system into operation; integration of networks into the general city sewage system. Justification of the gap between the current state and the planned result Today, residents of the specified streets do not have access to centralized sewage and are forced to use cesspools and local systems, which leads to: pollution of groundwater and deterioration of the environment; increased sanitary risks; limited opportunities for development of the territory and attraction of investments. The implementation of the project will allow to overcome this gap by creating an effective engineering infrastructure that meets modern requirements and will ensure an improvement in the quality of life of the population.

Problems and solutions resulting from project implementation

Key problems to be solved by the project Lack of a centralized sewage system on certain streets, which forces residents to use cesspools and local septic tanks. Deterioration of the sanitary and epidemiological situation, as the existing individual systems are not airtight and pose a threat to public health. Pollution of soils and groundwater used for household needs. Restrictions on the development of the territory, as the lack of engineering infrastructure complicates the connection of new residential and social facilities. Current relevance of the problems The number of residents and the load on the territory are growing, which increases environmental and sanitary risks. In the context of decentralization and increasing the role of communities in ensuring the quality of life, the lack of proper infrastructure is a serious obstacle to sustainable development. Compliance with European standards in the field of ecology and safety requires a transition from local to centralized systems. Possible consequences if the problem is not resolved Further deterioration of the environment, increased risk of drinking water pollution. Increased morbidity among the population. Decrease in the investment attractiveness of the territory and inhibition of the socio-economic development of the community. Expected positive changes from the implementation of the project Providing residents with a modern centralized sewage network. Improving sanitary and hygienic conditions and reducing environmental risks. Creating comfortable living conditions and developing new residential and social developments. Increasing the investment attractiveness of the community and improving the quality of life of the population.
