Overhaul of bridges/highways in the Kyiv region (UKEF)

During the full-scale invasion in 2022,
bridges/highways in the Kyiv region were destroyed, disrupting transport logistics and
connections between cities and villages. Restoration of transport logistics will allow
to restore logistics and transport connections, will improve the economic situation. As part of cooperation with  UKEF received a loan from Citibank in the amount of EUR 30,794,329.74 in order to co-finance the reconstruction of bridges in accordance with the specified list of 6 bridges in the Kyiv region.

The memorandum on infrastructure reconstruction of Ukraine was concluded in the summer of 2022 between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and UKEF.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the Kyiv Reconstruction Service will implement a pilot project to rebuild 6 bridges in the Kyiv region with the involvement of export financing from UK Export Finance. 

The loan from Citibank in the amount of EUR 31 million for the reconstruction of bridges in the Kyiv region is secured by the guarantee of the Export Credit Guarantee Department of the Government of Great Britain UK Export Finance (UKEF). 

All six objects are implemented according to the "Design-build" model. Auctions were conducted using a simplified procurement procedure on the Prozorro web portal. The winners were two Turkish companies -   "Onur Group" and "Doğuş".

"Doğuş". - major repair of the overpass at km 54+863 of the T-10-19 Fenevichy highway – Ward – Makarov – Byshiv, worth – UAH 444.2 million; - major repair of the bridge over the Trubizh River at km 22+830 of highway N-07 Kyiv – Amounts – Yunakivka, worth – UAH 47.2 million; - major repair of the bridge crossing over the canal at km 29+110 of highway R-69 Kyiv – Vyshhorod – Gum – Chernihiv, worth – UAH 197.4 million. "Onur Group": - overhaul of the bridge over the Zhereva River at km 18+826 of the T-10-05 Ivankiv road – /M-07/, worth – UAH 49.4 million; - major repair of the bridge over the Teteriv River at km 37+210 of the T-10-05 Ivankiv highway – /M-07/, worth – UAH 447.2 million; - overhaul of the overland bridge crossing at km 5+170 of the T-10-07 Obukhovichi highway – Stavrivka, worth – UAH 25.3 million.
