
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a list of 36 general secondary education institutions that will receive funding from the state budget subvention for the construction, reconstruction, or major renovation of protective shelters.
The total amount allocated for the implementation of these projects exceeds UAH 1.09 billion. Funding will be distributed as follows:
12 projects - in communities with very high or high risk levels;
24 projects - in communities with moderate or satisfactory risk levels
The risk level is determined according to a methodology developed by the Ministry of Education and Science (MES), which includes five categories depending on the security situation in each community. The projects will be implemented in educational institutions located in the following regions: Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Sumy, Ternopil, Kherson, and Cherkasy.
Educational institutions in 19 regions of Ukraine will receive funding under the state subvention.
The distribution by number of projects is as follows:
Kharkiv region — 4 projects;
Zhytomyr, Lviv, Rivne, and Khmelnytskyi regions — 3 projects each;
Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Poltava, and Chernivtsi regions — 2 projects each;
Vinnytsia, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Sumy, Ternopil, Kherson, and Cherkasy regions — 1 project each;
