The project "Reconstruction of the building of the KNP "Clinical Center for Oncology, Hematology, Transplantation and Palliative Care of the Cherkasy Regional Council" for the department of palliative care and rehabilitation at 4 Pakhariv Khutir St. in Cherkasy provides for a comprehensive reconstruction of the existing building in order to functionally re-profiling it and bring it into line with modern requirements for the provision of palliative care and rehabilitation medical services. The project solution provides for: modernization of building structures and engineering systems taking into account regulatory requirements for safety, energy efficiency and reliability; redevelopment of internal premises for accommodation of wards, rehabilitation halls, procedure, service and auxiliary premises; creation of a barrier-free environment and ensuring accessibility of the building for persons with disabilities and other low-mobility population groups; arrangement of modern conditions for patients, taking into account the needs of palliative care and rehabilitation; implementation of energy-efficient solutions that will help reduce operating costs; improving working conditions for medical staff and ensuring proper sanitary and hygienic conditions. The implementation of the solution will increase the accessibility and quality of medical services, ensure continuity of treatment and rehabilitation of patients, and strengthen the material and technical base of the regional health care institution.
