Currently, the Khorolsk territorial community has about 31,622 thousand citizens living on its territory, of which 11,000 thousand are elderly. Part of them is served by the territorial social service center of the Khorolsk City Council, in particular 604 single disabled citizens. The analysis of the above situation showed that the community needs to create a supported living service for the elderly and people with disabilities, which will make it possible to create decent conditions for the residence of such people: namely, round-the-clock monitoring, providing the necessary social support, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, communication and useful leisure. Today, the community has a non-residential premises of municipal property, which needs to be reconstructed (reequipped) into a residential building with a total area of 418.4 sq. m. in order to introduce a supported living service for people who need it.
